Hello! My name is Hannah Skoog, and I am the owner and operator of Bolt in Style Photography.

In the equine industry, many—if not most—individuals can confidently claim that, without horses, they would not be where they are today. Horses provide a unique, unspoken connection and relationship that very few are able to see. Through photography, I strive to capture these connections while also showcasing the beauty, strength, and majesty of the horse.

I currently own two horses in my “herd”—my 5-year-old mare, Misty, and my 3-year-old gelding, Waylon—in addition to my dog, Scout. I purchased Misty in October of 2022 after the tragic loss of my first horse, Joey, in a riding accident. We were both broken in spirit and body, but the Lord clearly had a plan. Misty rescued me just as much as I rescued her, if not more so. She revitalized my passion for the equine industry and taught me that there could be more to life than pain. I purchased Waylon in June of 2024, and he, too, has brought a new element of joy and laughter into my life.

I have a deep respect for how instrumental horses can be in shaping who we are and what we can accomplish as a team, and Bolt in Style was created out of this very mindset.
